From now till around march try vocalizations...female invite and challenge howls. You might hear a few barks and challenge howls and coyotes will come on the run pissed and ready to run you off. Big males don't want you messing with their females. Seems like everyone owns a rabbit distress try anything especially if close to residential areas kittens chickens pigs even pheasant

For the record, I'll share any successful predator tips because I care more about the deer and elk than keeping coyote hunting a secret  ???

I agree with using locator and challenge barks.  Last weekend, the second coyote I killed was a big male who vocalized and responded to the female coyote long howls but only came in with the coyote death cry from FXP
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
