Very nice BUCK!!!

I was up there this weekend scouting for my late archery tag.  Man, it was quiet.  I only saw one other truck, and all the rifle hunters I ran into the previous weekend were gone.  I'm surprised we aren't seeing more pics, as it appeared everybody had tagged out for late Rifle.

Nice Buck!  Sigh...maybe I'll draw an entiat tag one of these years.  A friend drew one this year, I think he had 14-15 points though, I've got about half that many.

So here's the story. My wife and I headed up for the second week of the late hunt.  Set up camp on Friday afternoon and went out for an evening hunt.  Saw some does and a few bucks one nice four point.  Snow was expected in the morning so we headed back to camp for the night. A buddy came down the next morning to help out. The next few days we saw 100+ deer a day with 15+ bucks a day. We spotted this one on the first morning but decided to look around some more.  Saw lots of smaller bucks a couple 160ish.  Then we spotted a 180ish buck with a 8-10in drop tine at 900 yrds tried to put the stock on but had no luck. The next day we went back where we had scouted the first day and found him again following some doe's. I couldnet pass him up this time! Had a great time with my wife and good buddy.  Great weather.  Can't wait for the wife to draw the tag soon!
