One of those 2pt's might have been the buck my wife determined was "off limits" for us. He was born in our back yard and still spends a lot of time there. Haven't seen his brother in about a year. Probably got picked off last year.
Notice his right front tine how it starts to split. Did you see him?
Also, there is a ledgend buck that lives around Pioneer. He is called "Zombie" I have seen him once a couple of years ago, crossing the road in front of my truck at 4am. He has a 2' scar on his right shoulder/rib cage. I have heard that at least 3 people have claimed over the years to have shot this buck. They say they shoot, follow the blood trail and after awhile, the trail stops. Then he's seen a few days later by someone else. He's supposedly been around for about 6 years now.

Could be. Hard to tell from that angle. I only got a fleeting glimps as he crossed the road going down the hill from the school towards the hwy. The buck I saw had a very clear 2 foot scar running from his spine above his ribs onto his front shoulder on his right side. I mentioned to some folks that I saw a huge buck and described the scar and then heard the story. Did this 2 more times to different people over the next few months and got the same story.

Well have you seen him this year? I can't say we noticed any big scars before we skinned him out so thats the only thing that makes me think "Zombie" is still out there. randy isn't very wide, but very heavy tall and dark.
