Surprised I haven't seen any Pearygin permit bucks posted for this year.

Probably not as surprised as the permit holders that weren't seeing many deer

That's funny Bone, I did the same thing only no photography, felt bad hearing them drive around below while looking at a shooter buck. One guy said he hadn't seen a buck in two days

Most of those permit hunters won't leave their truck.  Too bad for them.  Being able to hike around in the snow and track bucks is a blast.  I had the pleasure of hunting that permit in 2000 and I don't think I saw anybody else on foot.

Theres definetly been a couple toads taken, I have pics of one thats supposed to be over 200", its a beautiful buck!

This is going to happen more and more with the average age of the hunter drawing the permit rising with the points.
"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!
