If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.

Chalk another one up for Mel.  Only he would get so lucky as to shoot one while you guys were gutting another buck.  Great job to both of you. Tell him Kyle says hi

Nice bucks...congratulations.  Had to smile.  A generational type picture.  You with your synthetic/stainless rifle and your uncle with his ol' school wood/blued one.  Apparently the bucks didn't care one way or the other.

That's a good one for sure.  I've been on a lot of hunts with my uncle over the years.  He's real partial to his old school Remington .280  He can be a little unbearable the rest of the year if he doesn't connect.  I was real happy to seee him get his deer.  As for me, I should have had a little bigger smile on my face.

Appears to be a Rem 700 Mountain Rifle?  Nice ...I have one in 06' and they are a great feeling lightweight rifle.

If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?
