Yeah some people have no control when they see a big buck and when they see those big bucks at 70 and 80 yrds they just have to let fly  :bash: :bash: but they can hit baseballs at 100 yrds when target practicing  :dunno:that happens alot over there when your hunting open country ... good job on your dads part  :tup:

Dad has a disability permit. He has had both shoulders rebuilt and con not pull back a bow what so ever. He still enoys the archery hunt so they issued him his permit 2 years ago.

Hey great job to your dad. I would have done the same thing. Opening day in swakane I tryed to shoot a buck that was in the same situation. All hunters things happen. Good job!!!!! Another note!! Lots of clowns in the swakane this year. I don't know if its cause of the  muti season tag people who shouldn't be there?

Sorry to hear about the other hunters.  Glad you still had fun and hats off to you dad for doing the right thing.  I am sure it made the decision a little easier cause the mass on that deer.  Still a stud buck for sure.  Wish you luck on your elk hunt, can't wait to see pics and read the story.   :tup: :tup:

That buck is more of a trophy than the big guy he was after considering what he did to put it out of it's misery.  A true sportsman for sure.  Give him our best and congratulations on being an ethical example to all hunters. :tup:
