Big Buck Down WASHINGTON MASHER
« on: November 22, 2012, 07:34:18 PM »
I was fortunate enough to kill a great WA buck earlier this week. After four days of rather tough hunting, I was able to find, and close the deal on this great buck. Spotted him from a mile away, poor wind conditions, a lot of walking, and four hours later, I was able to find him bedded back where I started. I was able to get to under 200 yards from him as he stood up out of his bed, unaware of me, and able to get a good shot into him. One more for insurance, and he was down for good.  He is going to gross right about 243 and net around 235. :chuckle:

If this was the buck I saw today from my step dad in my email, then it's an absolute monster.  I won't say what unit it was in unless the poster wants it known, though I doubt he'll ever draw the tag again haha.  Great buck, and congratulations to the hunter.
