Lost my dog tonight.

My family and I are out of town for the holiday and we get a call that something is wrong with our dog Bailey and the lady boarding him is taking him to the emergency vet. An hour later I get a call that he's gone. Didn't even make it to the vet. They think his stomach flipped and bloat got him. He was 12 years old... Got him at 9 weeks old a year after I met my wife. He's been through it all with us and we haven't even told our little girl yet. She'll be crushed. He'll, I'm crushed.
RIP Bailey, till we meet again.

Sorry to hear about your loss Josh. I am sure your family made Bailey's time on this planet alot more pleasurable. Tough to lose a member of the family like that. My condolences go out to you and your family!!

That's rough. My dog is 12 and I dread that day. I prefer the dog to most people I meet. Definitely a family member.

Having just gone through the same situation, we know how you and the wife feel. We had Todd cremated, and have his ashes sitting beside his picture. It helps a little, but the hollow feeling you will experience, just seems to hang on. We wish you folks the best.
