Very good high quality gear.  The only bad thing I have to say is stay away from the Valhalla pants for rite now, they develop fuzz for say after walking threw the brush.  They fit great and are a great August/September pant they just fuzz out on ya, its a material flaw thing.  The Koldo rain jacket and pants are nice, they are cut a little large as to fit over your underlayering, overall a fairly quite material but I have not truely tested them in a downpour yet to see if they leak or not.  Kryptek will be coming out with some pretty techy new prodcuts in the next couple months so keep your eye out!  The other possitive note is there pricing is about 30% less than there competitors and they will be carried in other chain stores soon rather than just Cabelas!

I was ready to lay down some cash to get some at Cabelas a month ago but decided not to.  As I was looking at it in the store the shine from the stuff was incredible.  I walked around the rain gear section and kept coming back to it but every time I saw the glossly shine and thought that if I see it then the animals had to see it and left very disappointed.  Has anyone else seen this or was it just my eyes playing with me?

I hadn't noticed the shine. I did notice the price/quality. I think its going to be good stuff, I just haven't bought any yet. I'm going to wait for January, I don't think sales at Cabelas were that great and the stuff should go on sale after Christmas.

I like the two items I have from Kryptek. The Alois field shirt and Alois filed pants. Both are great products that were well thought out. The price was good as they were on sale at cabelas. That being said I like my Kuiu stuff better. The Kuiu stuff has better fabrics to me, if price isn't an object I would go with the Kuiu gear. If it is, Kryptek stuff is good gear for the money.  :twocents:
