It was a muddy mess as of sunday and had a few jerks of the wheel if you know what i mean.
. Saw a few bucks still hanging with does off the backside of the lookout. Saw a 130-140 class three point that had a busted shoulder southwest down the ridgeline. He ended up bedding down with a doe but he then got convinced he needed to follow a wanna be hot doe. He was tired, looked like he wouldn't make the night. I ended up seeing the shooter and pointed him in the right direction, but it was late and i was unsure if he had another hill climb in him, as most hunters end on a sunday that buck might still be in the area. Hopefully, they ended him but if not take a peek down there you never know. Might not be your best way of a harvest but it fills a tag. One similar sized buck through the gate and to the south but the usual means hes 5 miles away and there is another 130 in his place. If you're after the does the doubles are endless.
