Trapping ROW
« on: November 26, 2012, 10:08:08 PM »
I see this discussed on trapperman, and it seems the laws vary in different states, I'll give an example, if I see a culvert off a county road I want to set a colony, is it legal to do so? is it legal to trap from a creek as long as you stay in the creek? I would prefer having private land permission, but at this point, I dont have a lot of those lined up (actually none  :'( )

I know of no law against it in WA, however you can't park along a limited access highway or in a way that might create a hazard along any road.
That being said I wouldn't trap adjacent to what I would call occupied land without talking to the owners. Try to get along with people.

"Try to get along with people" Roger that, I dont want to do it in conflict situations, thats not fun in my book, no I was talking some areas with sleepy creeks and lots of vegetation around, no houses close by, possibly timberland holdings, I'm trying to shake this broncitus and double wammy of abcess tooth, just hoping to make the get together at lil rock on the 1st, missed a week of work already, still not sure if I'll cage rats or not this year.
