Newbie to this site.......Southern Washington coyote hunter
« on: September 05, 2008, 09:54:51 PM »
Hi all,

I am from the Tri-Cities and was told about this site by a couple members on Predatormastersforums.com.  From what I can see it looks like a great site.

If there are any coyote hunters from southern Washington,  let me know.

Gonna take the family over and camp at the Mall while I hunt Coyotes Sept 29, 30, and Oct 1. I'll send you a PM. Anybody else want to do a few stands?

I'll start a new post sometime soon...

Bofire,

Get a hold of me ahead of time if you head this way, we can probably figure something out.

MHWASH,

My wife and I went to Pullman, Moscow, Lewiston on a little drive.  We saw a huge coyote cross the road in front of us just west of Colfax.  How's the hunting up your way?

Tried 3 stands this evening with no takers.  Tried the homemade e-caller with rabbit distress, oup cries, challeng howl, locater, tried the cheapy mouth calls, Government Rabbit, and an old Carlton call, that I am starting be able to bark with.

Nothing worked for me today.  I need to work with you experts!  Still need a good dog gun though.  300WSM or .308 seems to be over gunning it just a little :chuckle:
