2012 North Idaho Whitetails.
« on: November 24, 2012, 07:37:29 PM »
I wasnt able to make the annual trip this year, but it sounds like they are doing good so far. Dad and Uncle are over there filming their hunts chasing whitetails in the rut and they have seen a ton of deer so far. They got their first kill on film today on the first day of their trip. Not a monster but a good buck for the area. Here is a picture of the buck. I will have a good movie made up here before the end of the year!  Stay tuned and I will keep updating the thread as I get more news from them!

Well after seeing a a huge buck yesterday and not being able to close the distance and be able to see him, they were back at it today and my dad was able to take a little buck. It is not a huge one but with 3 days left and two tags to fill, he took the shot. He sure was happy about it. After killing a 140 inch buck last year he was going to hold out but he couldnt hold back on this guy. Hopefully they can fill two more tags in the next two days and what is left of today!

Good buck!  Yeah the season is getting short and it looks like I will only get out one more day and the bucks are no longer in the spots I had been scouting.  Good luck on your groups last tag!
