Last chance for chukar
« on: January 16, 2013, 07:08:35 PM »
While swinging a cup of whiskey with a Guinness backer

Who is chasing chukar this weekend and can I hunt with you. Normally I hunt alone, not by preference but by the way I must choose. Body and life are but second thoughts while chasing the devils own bird. But even I are smart enough when the weather is cold and the distances are far, to  I ask for a partner to join me in the last chukar hunt. For I dont have a dog and may not find  chukars, the devils own birds are my passion and I will find them or die trying. Though it may cause a small lie or two with the wife and I it is worth the guilt to flush one or two. You can add swaying comments here.

I will be taking off from the west Friday night from the wetside.

Pm me if intereste

too bad I have other commitments this weekend, or I would sign up. I hope you get a few of those red legged devils.

Wish I was, Joe. I only made it out for chukar once this season, and didn't get any. I've got other responsibilities this weekend. Hope you make it out. Good luck.

We will go out for something next year Stilly, I got some coastal grouse I found in groups of 10 that would be fun to chase.

Forrestrover next year lets go get em. I love hunting chukar.

Merkelman lets go I am flexible, as to when and where. Plus I am overweight and a bad shot so I am bound to boost your ego even if the chukars don't.

Well I read what I wrote last night and it only makes sense on moonshine. So I will try again.

Please oh please will someone risk life or limb for these red legged devils with me. I promise to fall on my ass for your entertainment at least ten times and split gas and expenses.  This is our last chance at revenge.

Joe, I wouldn't recommend it without snowshoes this time of year.

Thanks Fethrduster, I dont have snow shoes so I guess I will have to wait for next year. I will drive around tomorrow and look for spots that I can maybe jump shoot ducks then or go steelheading.
