Forgive me If I'm wrong, but we (USA) are a member in the UN, if this passes we could just withdraw, correct? In which case, an organization which depends on its members to enforce its laws would be rendered unable to enforce anything without its largest militaristic ally...

Unfortunatley if ordered our military would take them from us.
