ah the sweet smell of a bull elk.... :chuckle:
Charlies hard at work taking care of the cape and of course has had visitors so he hasn't had a chance to get online yet.  The bull is better in person, impressive.  Great stories from Charlie, he seems so calm. Maybe just tired.  Maybe it hasn't sunk in yet....

yeah charlie has pics of where the bull expired and even video from the day before!  You couldn't ask for a better bull especially since he scouted/video'd the bull the day before and decided he wanted to go after him, and actually killed him the next day!  Charlie is quite the celebrety here lately and now he deserves it even more!  Tell you what, the bull is decieving...  ;)

And a definite thanks to all those that are giving kudos to me and my buddy travis...  Honestly, I know most of you would've gone at the drop of a hat to go help pack this bull out...  but this was truly a ONCE IN A LIFETIME opportunity to help such quality people pack out a bull of a lifetime (especially with archery tackle!)...  There's sure no F***** regrets here only an awesome sense of opportunity to help out on one of these tags!

As for Travis (BowsNhos) he's gonna stick a monster I just know it!  He sure put in more effort than me and my buddy as he packed out a first load of meat, then the head and horns!!!  He deserves a trophy for sure!  I'll have you know he actually arrowed a 3x4 muley the day before so a massive bull would definitely make the trip of a lifetime!!!!
