alot of people go with the hoochie mama or the squeeze me. my unkle loves the reeds that you put in your mouth and work with your tongue cuz he gets amazing sound out of them and they are hands free witch is darn near essential with archery.  marching bull comes out 20 yards infront of  you you draw back give him a sweet little mew with you mouth call and BACKSTRAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!

welcome to the site. youve got a wicked signature.

thanks, the hands free isnt all that essential because i have a buddy who will be doing the bulk of the calling... basically im gonna have one just to try to trick the bull into thinking theres several cows, but when hes close ill have the bow ready.

4 words - Bugling Bull Game Calls...  Either the Who's yrr daddy call, or any of the diaphragms.  The raging bull #101 is my favorite and is the most versitle.  Any of the calls are easy to use and make some great sounds!  www.buglingbull.com

just one word of advice, if your going to be using it in willapa hills, use sparingly. but the hoochie momma works great.

Imaka da bulls crazy and hoochie momma for me. I have used mouth reeds a lot (for most kinds of hunting not just elk) and they work great. I just got tired of having cotton mouth by the end of the day.
