Each year we have a great dinner and guest speaker. We have had in the past, Charlie Buck (Buck Knives), Ed Weatherby (Weatherby Arms), the CEO of Winchester/ Browning and this February we will have Chad Schearer form Montana. He is a world champion elk caller, guide and TV show host with CVA Arms and Powerbelt as sponsors. We had him last year and by popular demand he will be returning. Mark your calendars for February 7th, 2009. You won't be disappointed. I will post a flyer on this thread as soon as I get one. The attendees bring in their trophy mounts and they are mounted around the gymnasium for all to see. There is always a raffle for a rifle, many Buck knives and other prizes. I don't know what the rifle will be this year. If any successful hunters wish to donate some meat it will be accepted. We have served just about ever kind of game meat at one time or another except Coyote.

For those that didn't make it, the place was jam packed, 340 +or-. The food was great, a great speaker and entertainer, lots of kids there also. This was the 8th year in a row for me. We ate bear, deer, elk, moose, salmon, goose peperoni, and I deep fried four 22 lb turkeys.  :chuckle:

My wife and one daughter had some of the turkey, they said it was great.
