How much did the hydro dip cost?

All costs for their services are listed on the N W Hydroprint website.  Their selection of prints and pictures of their work is extensive--at least it was when I checked it out a year or so ago....
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

O.k here is some of the pic's for some "after the fact pictures" :chuckle:

The pink muddy girl semi gloss is for a member on here, it was a 243 ruger american. The others are a a7 sako in reaper skulls flat/ tikka 22-250 in true timber sage flat/the other tikka is in reaper bucks flat in 7mm-08.

Uh I don't know which one you are talking about. The one on the far right in the first picture is black and sliver. They all cost the same at 90.00 per stock.

Not sure how much you need to do a rifle stock. I would bet the middle kit that runs 100.00 on there site. For almost the same money maybe 10-15.00 more you can have to pros do it and you know it will turn out great. It would be fun to try it yourself. However I am one of those guys prone to messing up stuff the first time I try it :chuckle:

:chuckle: It's amazing what all a guy can dip. I put the a7 threw a lot last year as it's one of my go to rifles. The dip has held up very well but you can sure scratch it off if you are ruff enough with it.

I didn't even pay attention to the dates.
Wow...that was probably not the thread he was thinking about...

Kind of a dumb question but is this process feasible with wood?

Not dumb at all. They have been doing it on wood stocks . I have heard it is not as tuff and does not bond as well as on the syn stocks but it still can be done.

Savage sells a rifle with the muddy girl print already on it...comes in .223, .243, and 7mm-08 their website msrp is $475, it is a youth model can probably find it a little cheaper if you look around, I have thought about getting it for my wife she is of smaller stature and I think it would fit her well. Hope this helps!

And just today I saw an advertisement in an industry magazine where Colt (I think it was) is offering dipped stocks on their guns as an option.  One of the 5 or 6 choices was Muddy Girl....
