best bow for the money

The best price I have had quoted on a new bow is from Lucky Shot Archery in Chehalis.  None of the other dealer I have gotten a quote from will budge from full retail....

I was on craigslist Portland this morning and a bow shop in Vancouver Wa has dozens and dozens of new 2012 bows, sights and equipment listed for sale. I have no idea who it is or what deals there are but looks like a bunch of stuff. Not sure if they are going out of business , can't hurt to check it out.  Mike

You should shoot some different bows and find out what you like.  Some great bows will not feel good to you.  I shot a Mathews Z7 when they were new, and it just didnt' feel right.  Amazing bow, but I like some of their other models better.

Keep an open mind about brands.

Lucky Shot is probably your best option.  Fletchsetter in Rainier mite wheel and deal some as well.

High Mountain in Wenatchee and Moses lake. Full line Mathews, Hoyt, Bear, PSE, Mission. The Mathews Heli-M at $850 new leaves room to nicely equip with accesories at the $1100 mark!

thank you for all the great information, i plan on shooting as many bows as i can. i just have one problem right now is that i'm currently deployed to Afghanistan so i just wanting to see what everyone's thoughts are on the different brands and model i have read all kinda of magazine that i can and you don't see to much of the smaller brand, the two big one that i have seen is Hoyt and Mathews. once again thank you, looking forward getting back to the states and shooting all i can.

If you can find a year old used bow from a reputable.person that is a great way to save some cash. Otherwise pse has multiple bows in the 650$ range brand.new that are great bows. Phenom or vendetta or supra are a few. Good luck and stay safe!

if I was buying a new bow this year I'd look close at the new martin line up.

   they have changed their design in riser and split limbs this year and usually cheaper than the some of the other companys out there
