Any where in Washington to get trapping supplies?
« on: December 04, 2012, 10:47:02 AM »
I took the trappers ed class a couple days ago and cant wait to try my hand at it. Just wondering if there is any where in western Washington i can get stretchers and fleshers and other things I am gonna need? I found lots of places online but I would much rather spend my money locally than buy things off line from the other side of the country.and help would be great.

The only person selling trapping supplies in state I know of is  Ted Cantrell (509)248-1097 tedandlaurie@wildblue.net  He is over in Moxee. That is in Yakima County.

Use the phone number. Ted and Laurie got divorced and I am not sure if the email is still current.

Good selection of WA gear I'd talked to him before.

The snare shop sells supplies for making coloney traps and such, just check online for them.  F & T is another supplier that is reliable.
I've slowed down enough in my old age to finally let the game catch up to me

I picked up some stuff from Del's today to make colony traps, after watching a bunch of youtube videos they seem to be pretty easy to make. Was hoping somewhere close sold strechers. Gonna have to call the guy in Eastern Wa and see what kind of prices he is charging and maybe just order some strethers from him. Think I would rather have wood than wire.
