we had a gamie tell us about a wolf taking down a cow elk last winter in the yard of a school in elk city..kids loved watching that..

"They don't usually attack humans".    I love biologists that think that.   If they are hungry do you think they just go hmmm, thats a homo sapien, I better leave that clumsy slow hunk of steak alone.  They might have HIV or worms.   For the unfortunate kid that gets nailed, I am sorry your liberal parents are idiots.  I can only hope you are high on your legal pot so it doesn't hurt too bad when they envicerate you.

As the crow flies (which isn't the same as "as the wolf trots") Cottonwood is about 40 miles from Lewiston. Cross the Snake and it's in Clarkston.

WOW!  This is the first I have heard of this.  My family runs a 2500 acre cattle ranch in Cottonwood and I have talked to several family members since this happened and haven't heard a word from them about it.  The high school is only about 10 minutes from the ranch, damn, this sucks.

You probably know my source of the story then.  His family runs a cattle ranch there.  I think it was north of town, but not 100% sure of that.  My source works at Boeing

I grew up in grangeville Idaho, about 15 minutes from cottonwood, and my fiance grew up in cottonwood, a friend of hers said the wolves have been killing their animals the last few weeks, they thought coyotes at first, but it's obviously not a coyote. pretty crazy.
