I spent a fair amount of time in that area back in the late 80's.  Ain't never seen nothing of that quality there!  What a fantastic buck!!!  Congratulations!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Was this shot on public land? or did you go on a guided hunt etc.?
Great buck!

That's a great buck, ND is a sleeper, many people don't realize it's good hunting.

It is a sleeper but if you want to hunt it just go back to sleep.  Only 1% of their rifle tags can be given to nonresidents.  If the area has 300 permits (and all Muley buck hunting in ND is by draw only) then once 3 nonresidents have drawn no more can get tags.  Any good area has hundreds of out of state hunters applying and after 4 years they cube (that's right not square) your points.  The badland area around Dickerson were most of the good hunting is done (West side of state) will take you 15 plus years to draw as an out-of-stater (easily put in your whole life and never get drawn, sort of like getting drawn for a WA state moose or sheep tag).

Now bow hunting is much easier.  Probably get drawn every-other year.  ND is a very bow friendly state.  Season lasts for months and I think into January if you can handle the cold.

Awsome buck by the way

The deer herd is down also after 3 bad winters in a row. They use to issue 7k tags, now only 1200 muley tags. Bow season runs through January 6th this year. They cut bow tags from 1000 a few years ago to about 180 next year. So it's getting harder to draw bow also.
