Yep!  Been pretty good for those that have had a chance to scout it!

Nobody told you that if you don't live over there you aren't suppose to ask questions about and god forbid hunt it.

Now let the east side west side hating begin.  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Your preaching to the choir but you will soon learn that isn't so.  Probably not as bad with hunting birds though.

Yeah! Drive the 4 hours to scout it! Make sure you do your scouting an hour after shooting time and make lots of commotion around all the eastsiders that give you crap for asking. Because god forbid you ask if there are ducks getting killed in the potholes.

Save yourself the drive and find a spot in Skagit area, the hunting is comparable if not better.

:sry:  All the time, money and fuel spent would be fruitless if I just posted it on the forum.  I would have 10+  guys B-lining it to those locations and then I would be at square one again.

Yeah. He lost my support when he asked where. Either trolling or just not informed on forum etiquette.

So...when are the westsiders gonna call us on the east side " just a bunch of dumb rednecks" ?  :chuckle:

Honestly, there are birds around, but I think we will see more with the next storm coming down this week. The big FLIGHT has not really got here. That being said, birds are around and limits should not be super hard to scratch out.

Be over there myself this weekend. Hope to see a few, maybe even harvest some. General info about such a large area isnt really giving up any spots either.  :twocents:

About 500 mallards showed up in the corn next to my place, fun to watch them come in. I do think its only the begining of the flight birds. Its gonna get real good soon!

I am west of Moses Lake. There is a TON of corn this year, scout till you find an active field, then good luck getting permission.

Two buddies and myself did ok this past weekend. 15 greenheads on Thursday, 8 greeheads on Saturday and 5 yesterday.  Thousands and thousands of birds moving in and out of private hunt clubs. We hunted the potholes. Not a great shoot but we did better than most we spoke to. Stagnant birds. Call shy. All been shot at. We need a new push of birds.
