This is funny, I was just about to start a thread on this very subject, wondering how the Archery guys did in there. No Tag just like that unit, and there are some nice elk in there.

My old man and Uncle each have the rifle hunt that opens the 17th. We're lifers in the area and have a lot of private land to go on that we can hunt. So i'll keep ya guys informed on how it goes. Its been a good year for elk already with my brother in law getting his 325" Peaches Bull during archery season. Hopefully they have the same luck!

Buddy and I'll will be up there starting tomorrow.  We'll be either in a silver Jeep wrangler or a white F-150 4 door.

Anyone have a snow report up there?  That might help us decide which ride to take.

We've been up there for the past two days and only seen one 5 point.  Heard of a 390 bull running around.

I think the bull that you guys are talking about that was over 400 was shot by a lady with the muzzy tag.

I have the tag but need to work. Hoping to go fri- sun. Sucks to get good tags and have this problem. It's tearing me up. Oh well I'll just draw it again in another 10-20 years if there's elk left
