Acrylic Call Recommendations
« on: December 05, 2012, 07:33:47 AM »
Hi All - I'm thinking about picking up an acrylic call to add to my collection. I'd like to stick around $125 or so. Any recommendations?

Cheers!

If your looking for a duck call Basin Waterfowl Calls has a double reed that's awesome.  A great sounding call.

Pacific calls? I'd pass.

Head to Cabelas and try a few see what you like. I prefer Lares or RNT. I also have a few Basin Calls I like.

Love the sound of the Pacific 509 Goose calls, I'd have to disagree tealer. We have called in a ton of geese this year with it. Nice to support local small call companies rather than the big chains...

I'll stick with what works, not waste the money because it's local.

You and Trevor must have gotten off on the wrong foot.  He and his girlfriend came up on Wed. and hunted.  He is passionate about hunting and seemed like a good guy.  Their may be some feather ruffling at times, but he is working to bring another good product to market!

Soften up on the guy and give him another shot.

I'm big on first impressions. Especially when a business is involved. I'm not the only one with the same impression. Trevor may be a good kid, but I haven't seen or heard anything to justify a second chance.
