Went out to the delta this morning for a little bit and ended up with 5

Sako- that's one if the rarest ducks of all. The greater Eurasian black buffleheads  :chuckle: the widgeon were working great this morning but had to pass on a couple groups cause I was working the dog on other downed birds

Yeah, those EBB's are very rare. Tough to kill too. I prefer to shoot them under 100yds since they've been clocked at speeds exceeding 130mph. Most times with close shots(under 100yds)at EBB's, I lead them by 2.5 canoe lengths. You're lucky to have bagged one. Nice shooting.
