Maybe you could be a bit more specific on what kind of help you need?

I mean..... I'm old as dirt and was just deciding if I should BBQ my Idaho Elk tag this year, as opposed to making tag soup like I did last year. Not much kick in the old tag soup recipe.  :'(

3 years of Archery for me: No elk, no deer, no wolves, 1 grouse.

It's not easy I guess is what I'm sayin'

Whereabouts are you located? I already filled my elk tag for the late archery and am planning on going out for deer. But, plenty of areas have both. What kind of hunting? Miles on the boots or sitting in a pickup?

You are long past the point of being able to switch to east side.  Once any of the general seasons started you were out of luck on switching your tag.

You wouldn't think an independent hunter would ask others for help?

Doesn't that make him a "dependent" hunter?   :dunno:

I passed on many doe this season waiting for a buck to fill my muzzy tag. Since this is the last weekend for me I decided to tag a doe. I left home and 20 min later I filled the tag. There are many more where I hunt but I'm not telling. Just wanted to let you know that when you put in the time and know where the deer are- it pays off. I have filled my deer tags every year since I was 16. It is not that hard, just lots of miles on the boots to figure out where they like to be. As for elk- I hunt western rifle. More of a go where they live and hope for a lucky day. So far I eat lots of elk tag soup.
This closet is taken- go find your own
