A good read

Forgive me if this has already been posted. I found it to be a pretty good true "read". my  :twocents:

thats a good read! a few years back i kicked a beautiful 3 point out that was tall and 26 inches wide of a canyon...missed it 4 times lol i hauled butt down the hill and up over the next ridge and was about to fall over dead from exhaustion when...BOOM turns out the buck  stopped about 30 yards away from a guy who was about 80 years old and he dropped it in his tracks! i was bummed out! but still just as happy to see someone get a beautiful deer! 2 days later i shot a nice 3 point! but then again im there for the hunt and the challenge and the great time with family and friends and not there just to hang a monster set of antlers on my wall....i think too many people have lost what hunting is all about...

If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

I think it is all of the above.  The thought that you own the rights to a deer is frankly, nutty.  This is not as big of a problem, yet, here in Washington.  Lots of public land still left.  Good article though.
