I like it...what kind of wood did he hang the horns on?
If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.

I believe it's actually fir or spruce... Looks to 1x4s that he glued together in two sets of three, then put a darker veneer in between them and glued it all together and then cut blanks... The other thing that impressed me was that he used plaster to cover the skull cap and build the center instead of using plastic or something cheap that is "one size fits none..." He takes the time to make one individually based on the size of the rack and his attention to detail is impeccable.

Very nice guy... Just does this have as a hobby, he also makes intricate clocks and bird houses...

Was this a set of sheds? If you don't mind telling, how much did it run you? They look great!

No, actually that is my 2012 buck. Ran me $40, which costs about the same as a cheesy do-it-yourself mounts you can buy.

Great looking mount!
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.
