need some birds to mount
« on: December 07, 2012, 02:38:14 PM »
I would like a bird or 2 to mount and am looking for someone to take me. Not on the WETSIDE, being closed.
I would like a NATURAL pheasant, maybe chuckar and of course grouse so if anyone needs a hunting partner, let me know
I do the mounts myself and have only done waterfowl in the longest time, time to change up to "easier" birds

Thanks in advance

i would love to mount a bird sometime
have done some research on it and seen procedures now just have to give it a shot
how much do you typically pay for supplies to mount a duck not including tools

I don't buy from vandykes anymore after I got into it with them over their shipping prices. I ship stuff all over the place and theirs is outrageous, at least it was. Even worse they don't (or didn't) charge your card for the shipping until after the order was placed and it was shipped. I order more from McKenzie now which is owned by the same company I believe, but makes me feel better i guess.

Pete, last year when I took you halibut fishing, three of us came up 1 halibut fillet short, you don't happen to know where the other three fillets went do you? Never would have brought it up until I saw this thread which lead me to finding several others.
