Spot Hogg?
« on: December 28, 2012, 04:01:43 PM »
Got a new bow and getting all my accessories.  The last thing I need is a sight.  I know I want spot hogg.

I was thinking 5 pin wrapped Hunter.  Any thoughts on that one.  OR the Real Deal. OR what one do you have and why do you like it? Pros.Cons?

Any input would be nice.

Don't think you can go wrong with S-H.  I would make sure it has 3rd axis adjustability.

I have the S. H. 7 pin. It's  great sight. It's tuff to adjust. But when you get it sighted in they are hard to beat. It gathers light well. Mine has the .10 pins.

3rd axis essentially enables you to accurately shoot up and down slopes.  Check out this site for more info and how to do it.  http://www.rokslide.com/forums/showthread.php?1824-Leveling-Your-3rd-Axis-at-Full-Draw

Great info! This is a must do thing. I have set my 3rd axis and it makes a big difference.

I have the hunter model and it is great. I recommend the large guard. You can get them with custom size pins too. Mine are .029 .019 .019 .010 .010 .010 .010. It helps a lot so they don't blend together.
