For those that said it was his 2nd shot YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG! Re read my posts. My brother had the tag and talked to him right after he killed the deer. Head shot 1st then watche it go in circles for awile before he could get a 2nd shot that finally put it down.

well in that case, I agree with most... Probably not the most ethical shot, but I guess it got the job done.

Lol first shot was in head at 10 yds... He wouldn't stand up even after I was whistling at him and I was holding my bow at full draw so I just drove it in his head... Then I had to shoot him again at 30yds to finish him off through the front shoulder in the cat tails and he ended up falling in the waste way so I had to drag him out :) love being popular haha sorry about pics... I try to post and it doesn't work.

Head shots are a horrible idea with a bow. :twocents:

sometimes they work but still too risky.

Wonder how many he maimed over the course of that hunt? How was a headshot with a bow a good idea?

Maybe it has something to do with the way you come off via your posts? I don't know you from Adam, but there is a clear pattern to your attitude on this website that I think might have much to do with the replies your posts get. You have gotten a couple nice animals this year so congrats for that.
