Ok you exercise freaks I need to know your motivation I was working lots and exercising lots. It got me wore out and sick. Not getting enough rest. I am all better know but finding it hard to get motivated to go workout after a long day of work. How do you push yourself and what supplements do you us? Thanks

I had to quit as I keep gaining even when I cut my eating and added exercise daily.... :dunno: I was becoming suicidal and close to bulimia again so I said screw it ....I guess i am now round and fat and have beat my highest weight ever 3 times inside 2 years.....gonna go see a doctor again and try and figure out what is wrong with me, probably be told its all in my head again but I have to try, then if this doesn't answer things I may take up smoking again and see about amphetamines/err prescription diet pills ....might work....

As of Saturday I was down to 298.  this is the first time in several years that I have been below 300.  I might have put a couple back on for Father's day so I will re-weigh on Wednesday to make sure that I am back on track.

:yeah:  I eat 5 meals a day at total between 1500-1800 calories  a day and I also take a multi-vitamin pack once a day.  Then I look in my closet and stare at my old uniforms and think how close I am to getting back in them.  Find your motivation and stick to it.  Oh and I'm also doing insanity plus running and uphill walking.

started this "contest" at 278.4, bought a new scale yesterday and weighed in this morning. today im at 252, ive lost 26.4 pounds since i stated this in january, have had to punch 4 new holes in my belt and most of my wardrobe is at least a size to big now.

its crazy to think i started working out regularly last september, at that time im pretty sure i was north of the 300 mark and it took 20 minutes to "run" a mile. now i actually run a mile in 10 minutes. today an average workout is a 3 mile run followed by an insanity workout, haha 10 months ago this daily workout would have killed me.

good job Russ, re-read all of this from page 1 to today. fell out after doing the Bone Marrow donation in April for an unknown recipient. got back on the cardio machines and weighed in @ 239 this morning, 1st time in 3 years under 240. December 11th 2011 was 263. lots of inspirational posts here, keep up the good work guys and gals. for those who stagnated, fell out or gave up, just start over again like I did. down 11.6 from my start feels good, my friends and co-workers notice a difference in my appearance, alertness, activity level & happiness.
one thing I had to quote from all of my re-reading this morning,

Don't make the mistake I did last year and start off good and then stumble and not continue participating.  We are all going to stumble sometime during the 243 days, it's going to happen.  Just jump right back on the wagon and keep going

Jumped on the scale this morning 280 down 54lbs. Don't think I will reach my goal of 250 by the end on the contest but going to be close.  I feel so much better now.  Do a lot more at work and home and don't feel exauhsted.  Hope you all are doing good.

Ok everyone, I've made it to the 20lb weight loss.  It has been slow going these past few weeks.  I just hit one platue after another, but I am glad that I am keeping the weight off.  This past weekend we did a 2 day hike.  The places we go is by far not easy.  This trip I had to carry an 18lb pack so we would have enough gear for our night stay.  We left around 3200 ft elevation and climbed to 5400 ft.  We never take the easy trail, in fact we had to get over one rock face and my husband thought he found us a way through a chute on the rock.  About 20 feet into it, we hit nothing but pure viney maples, so we claw and climb our way through them.  We get up about 100 yards and he realizes we are boxed in and that wasn't a good route.  Back down we go and had to go down in elevation to make it around the big rock and then back up to get on the ridge he wanted to hike.  I am happy to say, I made the complete 2 day hike with a pack on and never complained once!  I am in such great shape, now he is wishing he was in good shape too.   :IBCOOL:  I didn't measure myself before I started all this, but if you measure my belt from the previous hole I used to wear it on to what I use today, there is a 4" difference.  I encourage all of you, if you haven't stuck with it, give it another try.  The feeling of health is worth it.
