When mentioned full migration, I don't believe it really ever happens on the wet side of the state. It would take a few weeks of solid freeze up for that to occur. Since that is not likely or usually never the case they are pretty spread out. Eastern WA will have occurances where all the birds are pushed to the the CR and many head for Sunny CA. or the lucky few that have ice eaters and warm springs get to retain some of the action. In the past week we have seen a large push of wigeon and pintails. Their were large 100 plus bird flocks coming in. Always fun this time of year.

It definetley hits the west side have had very good days towards the ocean this time of year and normally killing at least 2 man limits everytime... 2 weeks ago!
It's kind of depressing. Been taking some of the guys out from work to hunt and teach them about duck hunting, but it's been really slow going... i feel kind of bad about it actually.Last Saturday, we had two wood ducks fly directly over at 0735, then that was it. After three hours, we got up and tried to walk the marsh and jump shoot something.... nothing. Checked some sloughs and other marshes... nothing. Ridiculous.[/quoteEast side man. Check my FB page. We did well. Call me if you need details. Its been real slow over here.
