Pomeroy Coyote Derby
« on: December 11, 2012, 06:53:44 AM »
New to this site.  Looking for information on a Coyote Derby I have heard about that is held in Pomeroy WA (sometime in January?).  If anybody has any information on this Derby I would appreciate the info.  Thanks

Not sure about that derby but there is normally one held by the lions club out of Warden Wa, near moses lake...
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Thanks for the information.  So far this is what I gathered from your link.  $75 per 3 man team.  STarts on a Friday.  9PM Friday till 6PM Saturday.  40 or 45 team cap.  10 dogs won it last year with 4 being the closest competetor.  Held in January.  No distance requirements from Pomeroy.

If anybody has any additional information to offer that would be great.  Like maybe dates for this years hunt.  Maybe a local contact.  etc....

Thanks

Take a drive to Washtucna,I actually think the coyote derby is put on by someone in Hay but I've seen the flyers for it at Washtucna.
