Horse/stock trailer work?
« on: July 23, 2013, 10:33:26 AM »
Any one out there know of or do work on horse/stock style trailers such as sandblasting and maybe even painting?

Have a 13' (including tongue), slant-load.  The dents & dings have been worked to where they are going to be called done.  I will remove all the matting, trim and lighting not needed to keep the State Patrol happy while I drag it down the road, to help keep time & labor down.

Wanting it done both inside & out and painted white.

I am looking for either contact information to anyone you may have experience with or if someone on here actually does that type work what the costs would be for:

1. Cost for complete sandblasting inside & out, including the interior dividers, and if not going to do the painting cost of sealing with epoxy primer (which I will include when dropping off).

2. If you don't sandblast, but do paint, cost of squirting color on the body, without having to do any real prep.  (If I can't find a sandblaster, I will sand and treat the rusted areas and epoxy seal it, so it will just likely need a light scuffing and bath prior to paint.

OR....

If you do all the above, a price for the whole package.    :)

Thanks, appreciate any leads or offers as I am really not looking forward to taking this on in the driveway along with everything else planned around the short, outside working weather window, as I do not have a  shop/garage tall enough to pull this inside.

Here are some pictures to hopefully help in determining work time and calculating costs.

Forgot to mention, both interior dividers are easily removed without tools, just pull a couple pins and out they come.
