We're doing our best here in MT to keep them thinned out; but we can only do so much. Please take a road trip and bring plenty of ammo.

 $350 for a NR tag is VERY steep.... They need to reduce the price on that sh$@  and there would be plenty of participation guaranteed.  :twocents:

No kidding Scotty.  I got to MT several times a year and would be more than happy to buy a wolf tag and go hunting.  It isn't going to happen at that price though.

If the tags were $31 like Idaho.... Or maybe $50, I would make sure everyone in my party would have one.

Unfortunately, those wolves are way more widespread up there than advertised. It's a sad deal, the teanaway is too beautiful to just stand by and watch the deer and elk herds get thinned out. Us sportsmen give the WDFW a lot of $ to manage the deer and elk populations. Something needs to happen quickly. A 12 month wolf season? :)
