Tried one here on the wet side and they get realy heavy when wet.

I haven't found them to be needed on the dry side, calling coyotes into rifle range, bow or shotgun might be a different story.  I did make one with 600 sq in of orage sewn in to use coyote hunting during modern deer season.  It's more a gillie vest and hood.

AWS

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

I go with a light leaf cut camo outer layer and wear orange when moving from place to place. The full ghillie suit is a little too much in my opinion I prefer to keep everything light weight.

Yeah, I'm building one now. Nothing fancy, just something to break up my outline.
An old BDU blouse, fish net, burlap and some spray paint.

Check out the ghillie at xxx.allpredatorcalls.com. The one they have here is pretty cheap, but like AWS said I don't know how they would work on the wet side. I want to get one, but often wonder about the wet. I hear once they are wet they are really hard to get dry and may end up smelling. Still would be cool to use when calling old logging roads.

I have a piece of camo burlap that I cut a whole in, off center, like a poncho. I slip it on (my gun also has camo burlap drapped over it) over my clothes, etc, and use a cap with a mesh face mask on it....Just something to help break up the body line...seems to work pretty well. I use if archery hunting too.

Same here. I also use a ground blind for predator hunting also. Depends where I'm at.
