Whats your choice for a high end duck decoy? 
I think I am going to get rid of all my "normal" decoys this year and replace them with something a little more custom and higher grade. 
Been researching and looking around and like the CRDs but curious as to what else is out there.
I might even carve my own foam ones and go that route.  Dont really have a set game plan yet.

i upgraded to body language decoys.  still a plastic decoy but fully flocked and custom painted at $150 a dozen for mallards.  will be sending in my wigeon and pintail decoys to them at the end of the year to get them flocked as well.

If you want to go high end.... then just buy a *censored* load of Taxidermy mounts.
They are the best, most realistic, life like decoys you can use.
They've been used on the planet for thousands of years.
Kings used to use them, and are still used in special hunt clubs.

Just like using a coyote skin as a decoy.

Or... get a bunch of hand carved full body decoys from the national show.

I have thought about stuffed birds as decoys a few times

Stuffers are only good for dry conditions.  They will fall apart on the wetside of the state.  Mine looked like crap after only a few hunts.

If you want to go high end.  E. Allan, Taylor decoys, etc. are pretty nice.  You see guys using them at some of the high end clubs.

I would save the money and get a good decoy and have it custom painted.  I know the new craze is full flocking or heads, but I would rather not deal with them.

I went with Dakota decoys last season they look good but do require more care.

As far as geese DSD all the way.

Dakotas look great. Try flocking all your old  beat up dekes. A buddy and I flocked the entire bodies of old dekes. Pretty cheap and they look great. Airbrush the details last. Totally easy, just time consuming.

Hard to beat the GHG decoys. Great detail and paint that stays on. I've got a lot of G&H decoys that I love also.
