Forest service and emergency services need to be able to get in there.

Also, there is a red Toyota PU owned by a Yakima Tribe cop and a Blue 4 door Tacoma that have been seen up in there.

Wouldnt it be terrible if a tree came down across the road behind them?

its disgusting the tribe cop lives by my hunting partner and has shot numerous deer this year and he also just shot a 6x7 bull in bethel the other day.  Why they still have the oak creek road open is beyond me!!!

I say we start and initiative to make casinos and slots legal ALL across this state! The only thing that could pressure them is money,or lack thereof. Then they will get pressure from their tribal members

I think what they're doing is even illegal by the Yakama's rules. I'm pretty sure each person is only allowed to kill what their family can eat. Some of these where they're getting 5 bucks at a time in one truck, there is no way they are hunting for the meat.

When I have more time I will look at the Yakama reg's and see what I can find.

Ceded land? How about ceded land accessible by the same form of transportation of the day the treaty was signed, IE: ceded land you can walk to.

No Yakima ever hunted this far from home for meat for his family.

I say we just close all hunting period.  Gate all roads so no one can enjoy our forests and add another 100 pass for everyone that wants to park on the first 1/4 mile of road and hike in (wait....hikers need to pay extra cause their boots are tearing up the roads that ar no longer driven on).

The roads are not the problem people.  The natives, poachers, cougars and wolves are.  Gateing the roads is not the answer.   :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

We are going to have to band together like vigilantes and have shifts to spook the dam bucks away from the roads, air horns, coyote howls, firecrackers. SOMETHING!! This is just sickening to hear!! :bash: :bash: :bash:
