*censored* little hand cannon. i dont have the 29 but i do have the 20. it is scary accurate and packs a wollup. my favorite pistol to shoot.

I carried one a bunch for several years, had a bit of muzzle flip to it. Which is to be expected from such a short 10mm but it was accurate and functioned well. I ended up just changing most everything I carry over to .45 ACP, other than the accasional "Pocket Rocket" every now and then when just wearing shorts and a T. Pondered picking one back up a month or so ago but decided to go the Glock 20 Gen4 route.

I've had a few.
Get the finger extension for the mag and upgrade the main spring if you plan on shooting it much.
 A good set of night sights help as well.
For concealed carry, the 29 is 'blocky'. It is easier for me to carry my Glock 20 than the 29.

I have a 29 and a 20. Love them but to be quite honest running hot loads through the 29 hurts.

Thanks for the info going to get the 29 I shoot a 460 so I think the 10mm sholud b no problem

I have the 29 SF and love it. I've added a transfer bar to lighten up the trigger pull, Pearce mag extension and a extended slide release.

Oh its not that bad its just not a lot of fun to shoot like a 20. The recoil is real sharp and quick and the tiny grip doesnt help. Most factory loads are so mild its like shooting a 40 which isnt bad at all, its just the hot loads that get uncomfortable. Comparing a 460 which weighs 5 pounds to a 29 which weighs 2 is sort of apples and oranges.

I carried one for about a year before switching to a 1911. They make a lot of noise and spit a lot of fire. That said, it was a lot of fun. I just didn't like the way it fit my hands or how it concealed. That's how I've come to feel about all Glocks though. They're just too square and too thick for me to comfortably conceal on a regular basis.

Get one, you wont be sorry. If you can shoot a .44mag or 357, you'll have no problem. I'll agree with some of the other posters that the 20 is more comfortable to shoot, but for me it was just too big. I wanted a carry gun for the woods that was powerfull and compact in size, the 29 fits this bill perfectly.

I love my G20SF, but I dont have a G29 nor have I shot one.. Id like to shoot one, I bet it'd be one helluva ride! Shooting the 200gr DoubleTap's in the 20 lets you know its more than your average auto pistol. I like to use it to convince people that .45 is not the king of pistol calibers 
Ive got a G21 slide/barrel/recoil spring that I throw on top of my G20 frame, so I can shoot both calibers.. 10mm definately has more  than .45 does. Its funny that most people dont know about 10mm, and think Im making stuff up when I mention it.. They say why not get a .45? LOL. So I challenge them to shoot the 2 side by side.
