Is this propeller friendly water, or jet only to get to the fishing area?

There is a small channel going into the Palouse that is shallow but just mud  it was marked last year but easy to follow someone the first time I had a 23 foot alumaweld with a 225 outboard prop and just got it up on top and it goes right through.

I won't be able to make it! Wish I would have known about Hunting Washington and this tournament a few years ago. I thought only us imports from Missouri were out here catching catfish! I guess I thought wrong. I am heading up to the KOA at Lyons Ferry tomorrow and will be chasing cats Friday through Monday!

The catfishing has been VERY good in the Yakima River the past two weeks. I am hoping for some of the same at the Palouse River this weekend.

I will be sure to pass along the fishing report. Hopefully our Bowfishing tournament won't be one the same weekend next year.

Put a call in tonight for reservations. It will be just me so will have 3 open seats on the boat. Prefer bikinis but will be happy with whoever needs a boat ride. Didn't fish for trout this year so If someone has some trout for bait I will buy it from ya.

What's on the menu for the potluck? I can do a potato salad or baked beans. What's the plan?

I will be therr with my girls. 15 and 16 but it will be the 16 years olds Birthday while we are there so if she does get sick of fishing and wants to hang out on land or want to inner tube/kneeboard with us she is more than welcome!

Nice, sweet 16 at Lyons ferry! Anyone going over that needs a seat in a boat? I will have 2-3 open seats.

Snake is about 4 to 5 feet lower this year than last at this time.. Not sure what that will do to getting up the palouse.

I promised a fishing report once we returned. It was pretty good we caught 22 in about 4 hours. My son and I had a very nice evening. I will be surprised that crossing the mud bar to get into the Palouse will be possible in a few more weeks. The water is pretty low.

Hmmm. What to do? Long drive over to find out you can't make it up to the fishing grounds. I ran up there a couple of years ago in 1.7 feet of water. Does it get lower than that?
