Remington 870 Semi auto???
« on: December 14, 2012, 05:24:23 PM »
I love the way the wood stock 870 pump fits in my shoulder. Best shooting shotgun I've ever fired. With this said I'm thinking of maybe getting a semi auto shotgun. What would your recommendations be? If there was a semi auto 870 I'd buy it, haven't seen one. What kind of cost am I looking at?

Thanks

The Rem. 1100 is as close as it gets...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

11-87 should fit you about like the 870.  Looks like around $750........ Link
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

To me, older Ithaca pump shotguns handle and behave very much like the 870, for what it is worth.

:yeah:
I have been shooting mine since high school. Has treated me very well. Only thing is I have to change the barrel seal occasionally. Won't eject any low brass shells.  :twocents:

11-87 is a good one, just keep a few extra o-rings around in your cleaning kit
