i know very little about what happens over there but have dealt with tribal, state, and local governments!  The opionion you have about ethical or not will be no help, washington says running hounds on cougar and bear is unethical and idaho says its ethical so you saying shooting 15 deer between 3 guys is wrong is a matter of opionion(which i believe is unethical also) but the the issue will be overall numbers of the species? study needs to show how many are killed by predators, tribal hunting and non member hunting! And then a logical solution can try to be resolved, My bet is predators still take more than tribal hunting!  Bring back hound hunting!lol

I agree with you that we could use hounds again, that would do wonders for the herds but it really has nothing to do with this thread or issue.
i know very little about what happens over there but have dealt with tribal, state, and local governments!  so you saying shooting 15 deer between 3 guys is wrong is a matter of opionion(which i believe is unethical also) but the the issue will be overall numbers of the species? study needs to show how many are killed by predators, tribal hunting and non member hunting! One of the many points you are missing is predators don't go out specifically targetting the largest antlered bucks while they are in their wintering grounds, big difference.

Another point is with only bucks being targetted the only "logical solution" left for WDFW would be to reduce the number of tags issued for that area, meanwhile the offenders continue to wipe it out.

I've noticed that while some of us would actually like to come up with a solution to this problem and are trying to discuss it rationally, you have yet to contribute anything positive to the discussion. Are you interested in a solution or are you simply hear to stir the pot and irritate people?

If its the latter then I would appreciate you going away and leaving the discussion to those working to come up with a answer. :dunno:

Why not man up rather than stooping to their level?

time your just a troublemaker :chuckle:b and when people get upset on here its a reasonable reaction! some of the yakima tribal members will feel the same way when the actual entiat band of indians get rights down there and all of sudden you have competition, just like non members feel about the competition! :hello:
