Don't have a border collie but if you are looking for a family pet/ lifetime friend you also might look at an Australian Shepard

Hey Black Hog,

This is our AKC Border Collie, just shy of 2 years old.  She will be coming into heat shortly.  We have not found a replacement stud for our other Border (he is nearly 14, and "retired"--poor guy).  We would love to have bred her this time, but might run out of time.

Can you wait?

You can look up Laurel Hill Kennels.  She lives near me and has nice looking Aussie Shepards which I would also give consideration to.
