Yes it is a artificial head ... They look great if you buy the right one and they last for life ..Plus I have kept the original Hairs and small feathers off the head and glued them back on the artificial head ...and it only takes me about 3 days to get it to this stage .....Then it is waiting for it to dry ...depending on the heat that may take a month ...I can put them together now without having to do much feather placement which makes it so much sweeter..
