Waxing Your Bow String

I guess I should clarify some.  My "cables" are the same material as the rest of the string.  The servings I wax are the ones holding the peep site in place or where the arrow nocks, not the "other" ones.

I just use some generic synthetic string wax.

Does scopion venom work on synthetic strings?

When you wax your bow string, do you wax the serving as well?
Also how often do you wax your bow string?

Kind of a personal question, isn't it?

About every other session, will have to try out the venom stuff.  I don't put wax on the servings.

If you wax your bow string to keep it water proof and to keep it in good shape, then why not wax the serving as well?

The serving doesn't bear a load like the string does. It is not as important to keep it protected.
