sweet I cant wait 2 hit the hills every day 4  three months straight  starting Jan 5 th the 1 st trip out

Agreed antlerking... hope people post up some pictures in the next few weeks of their finds. I'll be starting next weekend looking for moose paddles

I respect OG's input and I'm sure he would write someone up and create a sheet storm for them.. But I think it's a bit of a stretch to call a shed trap illegal under the "harassment" laws posted. Now if there is the possibility the animal could become ensnared in the trap that would be a different story and it makes sense that it could be considered hunting.

In regards to "naturally shed".. A snare that falls off in a trap is still naturally shed.

Great find, awesome shed.  Idk why the shed antler forum has to be most controversial forum from January to May every year but it is definitely over dramatized...
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

the guy posted a pic of a nice shed, not a buck tangled up in a shed trap.  leave it be.  come to think of it, ive never seen a pic of a buck caught in a shed trap, and ive seen a lot of messed up $*&^ online.

 :yeah:   A buck has died from a shed trap made of bungees cause he just couldnt get freed from pushed in the ground by hand fence posts  :chuckle:  I didnt realize deer were so weak and just barely manage to even walk with all that head gear up there :bash:
