Here are a few more pics of the whitetail buck my Dad, Glen Berry shot in Washington this year.  It will gross score right at 185".  It has 18 scoreable points with 25" of abnormal points.  It has an inside spread of 18 2/8" and an outside spread of 22 4/8".  These high mountain whitetails are a true trophy and don't come easily.  Dad hunted this buck for 3 seasons before getting a shot.  Good huntin' to everyone in 2013, Chad Berry

Awesome buck

Chad,

I live, breathe, and dream of whitetail mashers - just like this one.  I sit 30 plus days in a stand year in and year out so I too have a true appreciation of what it takes to connect with a whitey of this magnitude.  Congrats to all involved.

 :yeah:

Lot of truth to that. Biggest bucks we kill year end and year out are at ........ In elevation . :chuckle:  even with the snow.
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

Good hunting buddy of mine who is a biologist for WDFW has a close hunting partner and friend that shot a monster muley in eastern Washington on the last day of late Muzzleloader season.  He knew the shot was good but couldn't find the buck.  He spent the next week hiking in a mile and a half each way to look for the deer.  He found the buck a week later only 300 yards from were he shot it but in a different area than he thought the deer went.  The carcass  was no good but he shot one of the top 10 deer ever taken in the state or so the guys in the office at WDFW think.  Green scores well over 200 and is very wide with deep forks.  Anytime you get that wavey look on your tines you know they are long.  Still waiting to get the final score on the buck.
